| Abstract: | O estudo visa a análise da sistemática da política de planejamento cicloviário no município do Rio de Janeiro, desde o final da década de 1980 - quando a cidade se prepara para recepcionar a ECO 92, admitindo-se, para tanto, a análise da Agenda 21 no tocante ao transporte motorizado - até a administração atual. Objetiva, também, colaborar com as demais pesquisas relacionadas ao tema dos transportes, com especial atenção ao modal cicloviário, e contribuir para a formação de uma consciência quanto às influências da qualidade do transporte intra-urbano para uma vida mais saudável. |
| Abstract: | The study aims at analyzing the systematics of the cycle planning policy in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, since the end of the 1980s - when the city is preparing to receive ECO 92, admitting, for that, the analysis of Agenda 21 with regard to motorized transportation - up to the current administration. It also aims to collaborate with other researches related to the theme of transport, with special attention to the cycle modal, and contribute to the formation of an awareness of the influences of the quality of intra-urban transport for a healthier life. |
