| Abstract: | O trabalho constitui-se no início de uma pesquisa sobre a expansão urbana e habitação na cidade de Porto Velho, capital de Rondônia, provocada pelo crescimento populacional entre 1980 a 1984, o qual favoreceu uma desordenação espacial urbana. O surto migratório que se presenciou nos anos de 1981 a 1984 gerou uma desordenada ocupação de terras e criação de projetos de assentamento rural dirigidos pelo INCRA e o governo estadual. Tal incremento populacional também gerou uma desordem na estrutura da cidade que não possuía um suporte ao migrante, como também local de moradia para acolher o número de pessoas que lá chegavam. Dentro desse contexto, apresenta-se a cidade com um crescimento horizontal totalmente desordenado, sem atender o planejamento municipal, o qual não tinha suporte para as invasões que se apresentavam, tanto a nível de negociações políticas, como o comércio ilícito, até a real necessidade de morar. |
| Abstract: | The work is the beginning of a research on the urban expansion and housing in the city of Porto Velho, capital of Rondônia, provoked by the population growth between 1980 and 1984, which favored an urban spatial disorder. The migratory outbreak that occurred in the years 1981 to 1984 generated a disorderly occupation of land and creation of rural settlement projects led by INCRA and the state government. This population increase also generated a disorder in the structure of the city that did not have a support to the migrant, but also a place of housing to accommodate the number of people who arrived there. Within this context, the city is presented with a totally disordered horizontal growth, without attending to the municipal planning, which did not have support for the invasions that were presented, in terms of political negotiations, as well as the illicit commerce, until the real necessity to live |
