dc.description.abstract	In this monography we present the geology of the Madre de Deus basin, together with the geophysical method called Magnetometry. We will present a theoretical study about a form of treatment and interpretation of the magnetic data, called Method of the Magnetic Inversion 2D. To get steady and coherent solutions from the mathematical models we will introduce the concept of constraints in the problem of the potential field inversion. The articles presents results obtained from synthetic and real data, showing the efficiency and limitations of the considered method.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	Nesta monografia apresentamos a geologia da bacia Madre de Deus, juntamente com o método geofísico denominado Magnetometria. Apresentaremos um estudo teórico sobre uma forma de tratamento e interpretação de dados magnéticos, denominado Método da Inversão Magnética 2D. Para se obter soluções estáveis e correntes a partir dos modelos matemáticos introduziremos o conceito de vínculos no problema da inversão de campos potenciais. Os artigos apresentam os resultados obtidos a partir de dados sintéticos e reais, mostrando a eficiência e limitações do método proposto.	pt_BR
