| Abstract: | The present work aims to elucidate which is the most appropriate denomination to be used in the relationship established between app workers and the companies that own the corresponding applications, among the terms slavery, employment relationship and entrepreneurship, given the wide range of expressions used to define this new form of work involving information and communication technology tools. After this conceptual stage, we proceed to a discussion about the change established in labor relations in the 21st century, moving from the capitalist mode of production to a neoliberal system characterized by control through information and data provided by the individuals themselves. |
