Abstract:	Investiga as características de operação dos mancais radiais finitos porosos sob cargas estáticas. Uma solução analítica é apresentada e os resultados relacionam a razão de excentricidade, o ângulo de atitude, as dimensões e os parâmetros de carga, de atrito e de projeto do mancal, sendo este último, função da permeabilidade da matriz porosa.
Abstract:	The performance of finite porous journal bearings under static loads is investigated. An analytical solution is presented and the results relate the eccentricity ratio, the attitude angle, the geometry and the load, friction and design parameters, the latter being a function of the permeability of the porous matrix.
