| Abstract: | O trabalho tem por objetivo analisar o sistema de corredor de ônibus expresso BRT (Bus Rapid Transit - Trânsito Rápido por ônibus) implantado na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, o BRT TransOeste, no ano de 2012, através da comparação do mesmo com o sistema implantado e já consolidado em Curitiba. Através de estudos sobre a definição de redes de infraestrutura e mobilidade social, tornou-se possível realizar um estudo da qualidade da infraestrutura implementada no Rio de Janeiro, através da comparação com a implantação da mesma tecnologia em Curitiba, e de entrevistas realizadas com usuários do sistema, buscando obter suas opiniões acerca dos principais pontos positivos e negativos da infraestrutura de serviços e os ganhos e perdas na qualidade de seu deslocamento e mobilidade. |
| Abstract: | The study aims to analyze the express bus corridor system BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) deployed in the city of Rio de Janeiro, the BRT TransOeste, in 2012, by comparing the same with the already deployed and established system in Curitiba. Through studies on the definition of infrastructure networks and social mobility, it became possible to conduct a study on the quality of the infrastructure implemented in Rio de Janeiro, by comparison with the implementation of the same technology in Curitiba, and by interviews with users of the system, seeking to obtain their opinions on the main positives and negatives points over the infrastructure services and the gains and losses on the quality of their movement and mobility. |
