Abstract:	Este estudo pretende descobrir a casa de moradia altoxinguana no pensamento estético dos grupos indígenas da região, falantes de línguas Tupi, Aruak e Karibe. Iniciamos nossa investigação através de uma metáfora, a metáfora do abrigo; a casa enquanto entidade “cultural”, abriga o corpo humano, entidade “natural”; o corpo humano, enquanto entidade “natural”, abriga o conhecimento, a entidade “cultural” mais abrangente.
Abstract:	This learning intendes to discover upper xinguan residential house in this region indians groups aesthetic thought, of Tupi, aruak and Karibe languages were-spoken, We started our research through a metaphor, the shelter metaphor: house, while "cultural" entity, shelts human body, "natural" entity; human body; while "natural" entity, shelts the knowledge, the most inclusive "cultural" entity.
