Abstract:	Teve como plano de pesquisa a recuperação e análise da história da eletrificação no Brasil, por meio da investigação das articulações entre as dimensões sociotécnicas do processo de eletrificação e o planejamento territorial, procurou-se desvendar o papel da energia elétrica nas dinâmicas sócio-espaciais e no desenvolvimento da região, e na produção da mobilidade espacial da força de trabalho.
Abstract:	The research plan was to recover and analyze the history of electrification in Brazil, through the investigation of the articulations between the sociotechnical dimensions of the electrification process and the planning the role of electric energy in socio-spatial dynamics and in the development of the region, and the spatial mobility of the workforce.
