Adaptação e avaliação de ferramentas de EAD no ensino presencial

Abstract

The use of Information and Communication Technology is enabling many changes, including setting up new spaces for communication and interaction. The mediation of the teacher in the educational process and exchange of information can contribute to the rearticulation of ideas and reconstruction / redesign of new concepts and meanings. The purpose of this study was to utilize and evaluate the Wiki tool, used in distance education in classroom teaching, seeking to contribute to the educational process and providing alternative forms of teacher-student interaction in the exchange of information in building concepts and acquiring knowledge. The use of Wiki occurred during a two month period with the curriculum content of Interpersonal Relations and Information Technology, in a state college in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The monitoring of this process and the evaluation of teachers and students allows us to suggest that the experiment was successful, promoting a collaborative work, where the text is written by several students. The texts, that were made and stored in a isolate way, are now being produced and refined by the whole community involved. These collaborative tasks are made possible with the availability of this tool: Wiki.
