Das remoções à pendularidade : os efeitos da segregação socioespacial na mobilidade urbana da RMRJ

Abstract

This article explores the relationship between eviction policy and the commuting movement in the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro (RMRJ), analyzing the historical process of socio-spatial segregation and its consequences on urban mobility. The methodology adopted includes: (I) a historical bibliographical research, which articulates the concepts of resistance and exile, to investigate removals as a reflection of the socio-spatial segregation model, highlighting its historical process in structuring the RMRJ; and (II) a cartographic analysis of from secondary data, integrating the information obtained to observe the movement commuting, as well as its current characteristics.
