Cosmopoéticas do reencantamento: arte Puri contemporânea como continuação da guerra

Abstract

When IBGE knocked on the door last time, to collect census data, it was my father who answered, not me, not my mother. So, it was he who responded that two indigenous people and one white person live in this house. Renewed response about us. It turns out that my father already understood what we ourselves did not understand before. We are Puri. And what does it mean to be that? And what does it mean to be this sitting in a chair that some of the most famous names in Brazilian anthropology have already occupied? In short, I don't know. And not knowing is a form of knowledge. In this writing I tried to think with words and wanted to try them. What can they do? What can I do as an indigenous person and an anthropologist undergoing (trans)formation? What kind of power emanates from what is written? What I bring to the reader is an experimental cartography, which plays with autoethnography and autofiction while investigating ways of doing anthropology and art from my place as a Puri performer-shamananthropologist.
