Abstract

The paper seeks to identify and recognize the main issues involved in mapping the most important elements to be considered for the definition of policies for the control and utilization of urban voids in the area that covers the 1st RA, called port, which includes the neighborhoods of Gamboa, Saúde e Santo Cristo. The proposal is to interpret the major issue of urban voids against the background of the private appropriation of socially produced benefits.
