O espaço-movimento nas concepções dos programas habitacionais em favelas

Abstract

The work consists of addressing the reflections on the participatory view of communities in urban projects in favelas and the question of spontaneous urban design in these spaces. From this perspective, Paola Jacques's concept of space-movement is the background to elucidate the problems of the favelas and their peculiarities, distinct from the so-called formal city. Thus, the chapters deal with theoretical and practical premises regarding urban planning, urban design and the urban reality of cities, considering the favelas as a consequence of the process of socio-spatial segregation that contemporary cities experience.
