Discurso, gênero literário e histórico: a propósito do imperador Cláudio e de Tácito

Abstract

The solution of any problem involves to deal with different scien ces, although the increasing specialization of academic disciplines can restrict crossing information. This paper aims to highligh inter- and transdisciplinary approaches, relating Philology, Literary Studies, History and Archaeology. We compare the Lyon tablet speech (AD. 48) Claudius proffered in th e Roman Senate with the version Tacitus gave us in the Annals. We translate the inscription and intend to transcend disciplinary barriers.
