Abstract

Study of reinforced concrete corners when subjected to a positive bending moment, i.e., traction in the internal part. For this purpose twenty models were experimented, using as reinforcement basic detail U bars, commonly used in Brazil, changing the following parameters: - Percentage of longitudinal reinforcement; - Percentage of inclined reinforcement; - Haunch existence. Based on the results obtained, conclusions were formulated about model performance in predicting the limit states of service and ultimate load.
