Diagnóstico fundiário do estado do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

This study intends, from the analysis of cadastral and census data, to report on the recent evolution of the agrarian space structure in Rio de Janeiro. Such dynamics will be investigated at the micro-regional level for the State as a whole. Its central objective is to interpret the effects of agricultural modernization on the land structure, trying to correlate three types of phenomena: property concentration, land valuation and capitalization of agricultural activity.
