Dimensionamento de concreto protendido

Abstract

This thesis presents comments about the International Recommendation of the C.E.B.-F.I.P./1970, on linear members of pre-stressed concrete, with constant or variable cross section, and comparisons with the Brasilian oficial specification as well. In order to acomplish this program of study a computer program in Fortran language and corresponding to the Freyssinet pre-stress procedure was prepared for use a IBM/360 digital computer. This program analysis any polygonal section in different phases of pre-stressing and construction, whose axis of symmetry coincides with the bending plane and is subject to combined axial force and bending, shear and torsion. A few edification constructed at different times were chosen and structurally analysed with the program according to the ultimate strength and working load design methods.
