Abstract

The paper aims to contribute to the formulation of alternatives to the current planning practices of the city, presenting a new proposal for the planning, management and development of the cities, elaborated based on the recent experience of municipal planning in Juiz de Fora: the elaboration of Executive Plans for the Development of Municipalities - PDDM.
