Análise sistêmico-documental e proposta de um sistema em C&T para a FINEP

Abstract

This dissertation introduces a new proposition for the Area of Documentation of the FINEP - Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos, a public agency which fosters science and tecnology In order to present the new system for Infromation and recovery of documentation, basic Brazilian background are builded: the reconstitutionof the scientific activity; the governamental policy for S & T and the brazilianpolicy for information. Besides, the relationships between economic development,scientific activity, information and information system are discussed; moreover,the importance of generated, treated, recovered and diffused information to the planning and technical-administrative management of S & T policy. It is particularly empharized the recovering of the technical production referred in analysis reports, products specification, description of machines and other instruments that takes part of the set of non-conventional sources of information The information structure developed to FINEP aims to manage specific services - Protocol, Current and Permanent Archives, Library - and to construct a data basis ser for convencional documentation which encompasses the projects sent.
