Acessibilidade urbana no bairro Gramacho, Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro: o papel da integração bicicleta-trem

Abstract

This article is the result of a research carried out during three months that carried out the daily journey by bicycle during business hours to the SUPERVIA TRENS Station in Gramacho - Duque de Caxias / RJ and by train to the Central Station of Brazil, considering the trip in the morning. and back at night. The choice of theme and the motivation for the development of the research is based on the author's experience and the dynamics of her displacement to the Baixada Fluminense Center of Rio de Janeiro. In addition to observing the dynamics of displacement, I interviewed people who cycled around the station and who use the bicycle as a means of transport to get to their jobs. collected through a set of information processed through electronic spreadsheet data, resulting in a set of 41 cases and as variables, among them: Integration; Time of Use by the Bicycle; Journey Time; if you had an accident and why you use the bicycle. From this worksheet, summarized results were generated, presented and discussed, among most two of them make daily use of more modals. And the further away or domicile from the workplace, the more integration of modes and the higher the cost of transport. In this sense, the fundamental infrastructures to overcome the projected side were designed, on the one hand, by bicycles and socio-economic infrastructures, by the absence of services and other socio-economic contexts.
