Uma crítica à tese da independência do Banco Central

Abstract

This short article introduces an argument against the Central Bank Independence thesis. It points out it is possible to emerge conflicts between the monetary policy and the fiscal policy in institutional arrangements where there is a fully autonomy monetary authority. If these events emerge, the article concludes the macroeconomics policy will be an inneficient economic policy.
