Abstract

This work is the result of a conjunctural and historical need of MAB women: conjunctural for our need to organize women within the MAB strategy, and also a historical task for the participation and liberation of women with the end of the oppression of patriarchy and capitalist system. Another issue is the perception of the tactics and the importance of discussing women and energy within the MAB and the struggles of Via Campesina. The debate is in the conjuncture and we need to respond, make the fight a strong organization fight, and make the confrontation, ensuring the construction of a new energy model. The text also discusses the losses of many people as a result of dam constructions, and points out how many transformations resulting from these projects affect women in a differentiated way, aggravating preexisting gender inequalities - almost always ignored or invisible
