Um estudo sobre os recursos, as potencialidades e as limitações dos softwares de geometria dinânimca

Abstract

The introduction of dynamic geometry software’s potencialities and limitations was the main aim of this study. It was made a description of how these softwares allow an exact and different constructions of geometric objects, collaborating for visualisation process and stimulating the discovery and the exploration. The pupils can make conjectures and formulate and refine their assumptions, understanding the importance of the proof of geometric propositions. Therefore, it was investigated the relations between these softwares utilisation and the intuitive and logical aspects of teaching-learning process in geometry. Tabulae was the software used in this investigation, it was developped at IM/UFRJ.
