Os desafios da migração ao mercado livre de energia na Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

The objective of the article is to analyze the perspectives, the elaboration of the strategy and the challenges, of the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro, for the direct acquisition of clean and renewable energy with individual migration schedule of the municipal units eligible to the Free Energy Market (Contracting Environment Free - ACL). In addition, it intends to facilitate the debate and open the way for other public bodies/entities that envisage implementing energy efficiency actions, and mainly migrating to the ACL. The article proposes to be used as a benchmarking tool, in order to explain the advantages and provide the knowledge acquired by the choice of the adopted model, in addition to assist in the decision making of public managers.
