Colostroterapia: proposta de protocolo assistencial multiprofissional fundamentada em revisão integrativa

Abstract

Oropharyngeal administration of colostrum aims to assist preterm newborns, especially those of very low birth weight, who for clinical specificities are deprived of exposure to colostrum. This study arises from the implementation of this practice in the School Maternity of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and of gaps evidenced in the literature regarding yours standardization. It presents as objective the elaboration of an instrument favorable to making decisions regarding therapeutics. Presents, therefore, a proposal for a multi-professional care protocol, including the technical description of the therapy, the process flow and a registration model adapted to the institution.
