Abstract

This paper dealt with the optimization of the distribution of aviation gas for the whole of Brasil. The approach is that of a transportation problem. Some exeptional cases whose studied using integer programming. Another feature of this paper is that it presents at an accessible level the application of the mathematical theory to a concrete industrial problem. We call attention to the output analysis since this aspect has not bean much explored in the literature.
