Sexualidade: um tema para os profissionais de saúde e de educação?

Abstract

This work is a presentation of a project for master degree. The actual project of research intends to analyze the vision from the professionals of health and education about the sexuality of the adolescent. It is important this theme because the adolescence is a period of experiments and new experiences; and sex is issue anonymous in its universal. But these boys and girls are disposed to start earlier the practices of sexual intercourse, what increases the chances of pregnancy & DSTs on teenage. This kind of problems could be prevented if the teenagers find out in health, education and family an environment of freedom to discuss about the sexual questions. Concemning that was realized a bibliographic study about sexuality, adolescence and the proposals of health and education in relation to the teenagers” sexuality. Knowing the perception from the professionals of education and health about the expressions of the sexuality on adolescence; identifying their actions into professional practices front of the adolescents" sexual behavior; researching their professional skills and identifying the limits and difficulties of their practices about this issue, it will make a qualitative research based on semi - structured interviews with itinerary before programmed. The professionals of health and education are people with different believes, values and cultures. Because of this it is possible to bring about the propositions of health and education, concerning on the sexuality, after the work of sensitize and capacity / formation of the professionals; we could have their perception of this theme that can contribute to the actions of promotion and prevention of the teenagers' sexual live.
