Abstract

This work presents the application of the dynamic method considered by Silva (2005) for forecast of the dynamic penetration of the torpedo pile into the ocean bottom. The problem is approached to work-energy principle considering the torpedo pile as rigid element. The method presents simple formularization and can be used for both clay and sand.
