Resumo

The techniques for the oil rocks reservoirs characterization have been gaining more space for innovations and highlights in the scientific works and in the exploratory flows studies applications of the oil companies. In order to demonstrate the use of nondestructive techniques applied in the characterization of reservoir rocks it was used noninvasive analysis tools such as Computed Tomography, Micro Tomography (MICRO CT), and QEMSCAN, which accurately evaluate many materials types. The main goal of this work is to apply non - destructive research methods to a rock sample from the Rio do Peixe Basin (BRP) reservoir, observing the pores and minerals distribution, and corroborate with academy researches, regarding genesis and formation of the BRP reservoir. For the development of the dissertation, two stages of investigation were done. The first was designated as flow 1 using four samples from the 1-BSB01-PB stratigraphic well. The result of flow 1, led to the choice of one of the four samples for the application of the second research flow with higher resolution. The result generated a map of the distribution of pores and minerals in 2D sessions, showing the influence of certain minerals on the degree of porosity of the rock, even locally. In this way it is concluded that the applications of descriptive techniques used in sedimentary petrography can be more agile and precise when used in spectral analysis tools such as QEMSCAM.
