Análise de tensões primárias e secundárias em sistemas de tubulação

Abstract

It is presented a static stress analysis for a piping system and it is emphasized how it is important the distinction between primary and secordary stresses.Particular emphasis is done on secondary stress analysis and on ANSI B 31.3 (American National Standard Code for Pressure Piping) criteria for the determination of the effective stress. It is presented a computer program, in BASIC language, for the determination of secondary stresses, where the principal special elements of a piping systems are considered. Finally it is explained how the usual programs for determination of stresses in piping systems, which don't make the distinction between primary and secondary stresses may be used to determine the stresses according to the ANSI B 31.3.
