Resumo
This study was the result of a research done on extension activities at the Language College (UFRJ) during the pandemic period (2020/2021) and is justified by the need to identify the following points: (i) how the extension coordinators were able to develop their activities in this period; (ii) the difficulties they found, and (iii) what they have learnt to be used in these or in future activities. This was a qualitative and exploratory research, based on a case study and that used participatory methodologies, like the participant research. The sample chosen was
composed by extension activities that have been active during the pandemic. Interviews were conducted with each of the coordinators using Google Forms. The interviewees were able to explain what their experience was like, what paths they had chosen to follow during this period, what results they had achieved, and how they will be able to use this experience to enrich their future work. It was possible to identify the problems presented in the mentioned period, also in relation to infrastructure. By detailing the extension practice of each action, it
is possible to see how all the experience can be used for new actions, in order to achieve different results and modify future practices according to other perceptions of the new reality.
