Análise de cânions em águas profundas na Bacia do Espírito Santo através do método sísmico

Abstract

In this work we elaborate a brief description of the geology of Espírito Santo Basin, in the offshore Brazil, and of the general principles of the seismic method. The connection between the method and the geology is established by the analysis of a previous work where two submarine canyons, active in that basin, are modelled by the use of seismic sections.
