Abstract

The research aims to verify the progress of the entry of black people, especially black women, into the Judiciary. Their specificities and unique challenges for entering positions of power. The methodology is not only quantitative, but above all qualitative, based on the analysis of statistical reports, literary works in accordance with the indicated theoretical frameworks and field research, through participatory and non-participatory observation. To verify and report on what has been done, in concrete terms, by the Judiciary, beyond the publication of regulations. Contribution of social movements, especially the black movement, to the implementation of public policies and effectiveness with affirmative actions. Theoretical basis based on Critical Theories, works on Anti-Discrimination Law and articles related to the theme to verify the state of the art and follow-up. Identification of the panorama of the Judiciary, forms of entry and advancement in the Judiciary, observing intersectionality. Application of the Glass Ceiling and Sticky Floor Theories to black women. Main Anti-Discrimination Law standards in force and the Institutional measures of the Judiciary Branch affecting ethnic-racial issues in the last ten years. Reflection of coloniality in legal education and initial and continuing education of judges. Taking as a parameter the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), which is composed of the various courts and a third constitutional, to confirm the significant or insignificant progress of inclusion in the last ten years.
