Circuito imobiliário urbano : uma análise conceitual e empírica com referência à área metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

This research proposes to analyze the behavior of real estate prices in general and more specifically the relationship between land prices and housing prices. The assumption here is that the understanding of this relationship is fundamental for the evaluation of the effects on the production and access to housing of urban policies aiming at the control of land use and the formation of land rents and vice versa. This is easy to understand, since the land price is a given for the land user, at the same time as it is determined by the joint behavior of these users, by the price of the dwellings.
