O neologismo e o arcaísmo em tenetehar: Aldeia Colônia

Abstract

This master's dissertation aims to investigate the types of neologisms that have been emerging in the Tenetehar/Guajajara language and the types of archaisms. And, through the research carried out, it aims to contribute to identifying the neologisms, new words and archaisms that exist in the grammar of the Tenetehar language. In this work I tried to demonstrate the risk of the emergence of neologisms, which arise through linguistic borrowings. On the other hand, I emphasize semantic, morphological and phonological neologisms. We list the hybrid neologisms (by prefixation, suffixation and parasynthesis). We also discuss neologisms formed by strategies internal to the Tenetehar/Guajajara language, neologisms by suffixal derivation (NDS), neologisms by prefixal derivation (NDP), neologisms by adaptation of the Tenetehar Guajajara language itself, and we conceptualize and exemplify the Archaisms, increasingly evident in the Colônia village.
