Proposta de uma arquitetura configurável por software

Abstract

This paper presents a new paradigm for computation: software configurable hardware, in which the function implemented is dependent on a control store. This structure is composed of several programmable logic cells capable of implementing one of a set of logic level functions, and a programmable routing area which allows inter-cell communication. It is also presented the implementation of such a structure in CMOS - 2.0 µm.
