Ouro negro: sindicalismo petroleiro no Rio de Janeiro (1954-1964)

Abstract

This thesis makes an analysis of the political action of the Party Comunist Brazilian (PCB), in the Petroleum Workers Union of Rio de Janeiro, during the period 1954/1964. Besides ransom the process of creation of this trade union. In the period here had analyzed, the PCB didn’t find resistence to the implementation of the its political line in the mentioned trade union. On the contrary the comunist and the petroleum workers developed an work as whole that, many times, culminated in economics and politics gains to petroleum workers.
