O ensino da disciplina “economia solidária” no curso de ciências contábeis em uma universidade pública na Amazônia

Abstract

The research aims to understand the contributions of the discipline of Solidarity Economy in the training of students to work in solidarity economic enterprises or in advising these enterprises, or in the formulation and implementation of public policies in this field, in the Accounting Sciences course at the Federal Rural University of the Amazon, Tomé Açu-PA campus (UFRA/TA). The methodology is qualitative and of a bibliographic and documentary nature, in the initial methodological procedure the documentation was the first movement. The documents selected for this stage were the Course Pedagogical Project (PPC) of the Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Sciences and the National Curricular Guidelines (DCN) established for Accounting Sciences courses. On the UFRA/TA website, we had access to the PPC and on the Ministry of Education website, we had access to the DCN. The research is based on the discussion about the role of the Solidarity Economy discipline, as well as the discussion about the need to train professionals with a more comprehensive and multidisciplinary knowledge, to know the National Curricular Guidelines for Accounting courses and the pedagogical project of the course. The Solidarity Economy discipline has essential contributions in the training of undergraduate accounting students at UFRA/TA, a Federal Rural University located in the Amazon. However, we need to think of strategies to improve the offering of this discipline; making it mandatory and increasing the workload is one of the recommendations. After all, the contribution to the training of students is undeniable, in addition to being a differential for the job market, having a professional with sensitivity to sociotechnical adaptations, to active methodologies, with more accessible language to deal with different groups of users of accounting, not only those focused on the capitalist market.
