Estudo em estruturas de máquinas-ferramenta com emprego de modelos reduzidos

Abstract

Study and analyse the static-dynamics characteristics of machines tools. Itis a study of the behaviour of a IMOR P-400 lathe by considering the bed of the machine which is the governing element of the total rigidity of this type of structure. The scale models technique is applied using plastic material (plexiglass). It has been also presented a new design, to ilustrate the comparative method of structurals designs, applied generally to complex structures, where a mathematical study do not give sàisfactories results. Some modifications on the original structure are suggested considering the analysis of the results obtained.
