Poder local: um estudo comparativo

Abstract

In the nineteenth century, we will find a sharp division between the place of dwelling and the place of production, at which time the working-class villages that crowded the workers emerged. Even then, the city assumes a projection that extrapolates with all force the territorial division of production and reproduction. At present, the split is more complex. The question of local power comes in the context of the enormity of the intensity of relations in space, of the increasingly omnipotent, omniscient role of the state. A relevant issue of local power is to understand how it is expressed, concretely, in everyday life. The study presented here will contemplate a comparative analysis between four distinct universes: Grande varus area, Favela do Rio Morto, Laranjeiras Residents 'Association (AMAL) and Recreation of Bandeirantes Residents' Association (AMOR).
