Generalização da aproximação prompt-jump para solução das equações da cinética pontual a um grupo de precursores

Abstract

In this dissertation a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the prompt-jump approximation (APJ) is presented, taking as reference the equations of point kinetics for a one group of precursors of delayed neutrons and without external source of neutrons, for constant, linear and periodic reactivity. The main idea of the work is to present a generalization of the APJ, using the power series expansion method. The application of the method makes APJ more precise, leading to results closer to the reference solution, besides contributing to a low computational cost, thus showing the feasibility of the proposed method in the solution of the ECP set
