Das questões ambientais globais para às questões ambientais locais: a territorialização da agenda hegemônica global para o meio ambiente na Reserva da Biosfera da Serra do Espinhaço, Minas Gerais, Brasil

Abstract

The present study seeks to understand how the territorialization of the global hegemonic agenda for sustainable development in the Serra do Espinhaço Biosphere Reserve - Minas Gerais, Brazil, and its impacts on the construction of a local environmental agenda occurs. Through interviews, focus groups and documentary analysis we analyzed the narratives that involve the environmental issue in the territory. In the results, it was observed that the goals and guidelines for the global network of biosphere reserves affect the territory, conditioning the spaces for decision-making and coordination of environmental public policies to the current neoliberal logic.
