As aventuras de George e Alípio pelo litoral do Brasil

Abstract

The book tells the story, in a language accessible to children, of the passage of the American researcher George Myers through Brazil, in Museu Nacional, received by the figures of Alípio de Miranda Ribeiro and Heloisa Alberto Torres, also researchers of the Museu Nacional. Some species of fish off the Brazilian coast "talk" about the researcher's coming and studies. Brief biographical entries are provided, as well as curiosities about the fish species that appear in the text.
