Potencialidades e desafios da integração das tecnologias de informação e da comunicação: discutindo as experiências de duas escolas de ensino fundamental da rede municipal de Mesquita

Abstract

In this study, I discuss how Communication Technologies (ICTs) affect the day-to-day operations of the municipal council of education of Mesquita from the year 2005, when they were assembled computer classrooms in some schools. I’ll give emphasis to the Programa Nacional de Informática na Educação (PROINFO) and the Programa Um Computador por Aluno, describing the implementation process, respectively, in municipal schools Santos Dumont and Machado de Assis, based on reports from teachers and administrators of these schools. I’ll examine the specific set of these two schools because of their unique experiences in the integration of ICTs into their daily lives. The Escola Municipal Santos Dumont comes from exploring different educational projects by using the Computer Lab (LIED). Already the Escola Municipal Machado de Assis hasn’t a LIED because of infrastructure problems. In August of 2010 that was included with the Programa Um Computador por Aluno (PROUCA), by the then Secretaria de Educação a Distância, from MEC. The conclusions reached come from questionnaires used in he two schools that I have been studied. The reports of the material were arranged in two groups that had different experiences with ICT in schools. I wondered what was the experience and skills that teachers of these schools had on the use and integration of technologies in education, which should be dealt with in this capacity on behalf of the teacher and finally, how those results influenced the student from the public school of Mesquita in consenting to assess the stage of integration of ICTs in daily life of local schools Santos Dumont and Machado de Assis.
