Desafios da educação financeira como ferramenta de combate ao endividamento no Brasil

Abstract

The theme of this research is focused on Education. The study presented in the theoretical framework verifies the concepts of Financial Education and indebtedness. We sought to gather data in order to answer the central problem of the research: what are the challenges of Financial Education as a tool to combat indebtedness in Brazil? The methods used were bibliographic and documental review. Based on bibliographic and documental analyses, the research found that economic indicators show growth in the indebtedness of Brazilian families, despite the Financial Education programs supported by the Federal Government and Financial Market, which makes it necessary to reflect on the effectiveness of the execution of these programs.
