Transporte de estruturas offshore sobre balsa

Abstract

This work deals with the structural behaviour of offshore structures like jacket and deck during transportation on deck barges. Initially, a theoretical basis related to this kind of problem is presented. The analyses, founded in a probabilistic theory, were performed considering 5 sets of barge/structure in 2 headings and 15 sea states. The results from a flexible barge analysis and from a rigid barge analysis were compared. Also the critic sea state mean period was determined. At the end, some considerations related to the dynamic structural analysis necessity are presented.
