Uma proposta para representação de adaptação de processos de negócios modelados em BPMN considerando as perspectivas organizacional e informacional

Abstract

Business processes are adapted to enable their application in a new scenario, generating specific workflows from a base process. These flows are usually modeled using BPMN notation, even though BPMN does not present techniques to describe or validate these adaptations. This lack of adaptation structuring in the BPMN creates a difficulty to track the changes made in the process. To try to minimize this situation, some extensions have been proposed, but none of them considers the organizational or informational perspectives of business processes. In this way, this work aims to enable the representation of adaptations in processes modeled in BPMN, when considering the organizational or informational perspectives, also seeking to develop a technique to structure adaptations that were performed without the support of this representation. To achieve this objective, this dissertation presents BPMNt++, an extension to BPMN that catalogs operations and rules for adaptations in processes in the analyzed perspectives. We also present a technique for identifying adaptations, allowing processes adapted without the use of BPMNt++ to be structured following their definition. Finally, the proposals presented are evaluated through the reproduction of case studies and a survey answered by volunteers.
