Contratação pública hospitalar à luz da nova lei de licitações e contratos administrativos : um estudo de caso e análise dos principais desafios encontrados

Abstract

The present paper is a case study of the contract of purchase of materials and loan of equipment for the Pathology department of the National Cardiology Institute, focusing on the challenges faced by public hospital management on procurement governance. Applying an observational and participatory methodology, as Chief of division of the Hospital, I present the former procurement model, the challenges posed by the Coronavirus pandemic, that significantly altered the hospital procurement field and the procedure of co-creation of governance, follow up and result assessment mechanisms developed by the multidisciplinary teams of the Institute, in light of the relevant literature, to overcome the threat of lack of assistance to the population.
