Bacia do Oriente: conhecimento geológico, petrolífero e geofísica aplicada (gravimetria)

Abstract

This present work is focused on the Oriente Basin, an andine basin that is included on the foreland basin systems Putumayo-Oriente-Marañon that covers an area of about 320.000 Km². Firstly, is developed a detailed exposure of information related exposure of information related to the geological context of this basin, including of the petroliferous point of view. Then, an introduction to the base theory of the geophysical method of Gravimetry is done. The introduction to the Gravimetry theory intends to provide resources to the reader for a compreension of the last issue of this work: a direct aplication of this geophysical method on the Marañon Basin and that is focused to the oil industry business.
