Resumo

This thesis analyzes the relevance and requirements for adopting a business model that can be considered inclusive and thus allow the benefits of new technologies, especially distributed energy resources, to reach all social classes. The objective is to identify the best option for low-income consumers, to propose a new institutional arrangement involving different stakeholders and to analyze the most appropriate business model. The study evaluated three alternatives to choose the best business model alternative: (i) traditional consumer; (ii) “individual” prosumer; and (iii) “collective” prosumer. The study used different traditional tools for decision making. SWOT Matrix to compare the alternatives and an innovative approach that combines a multi-criteria analysis with a risk analysis to choose the best alternative. After choosing the best alternative and to detail the business model, the study used the Canvas method to identify the blocks and their components that make up a business model.Também disponível on-line.
